Lutein

10 mg

Lutein is a carotenoid nutrient that belongs to xanthophylls family. Xanthophylls are a group of plant pigments responsible for many of the bright coloured fruits and vegetables. Lutein is found in dark green leafy vegetables like spinach and kale.

Zeaxanthin

2 mg

Zeaxanthin is a carotenoid nutrient that belongs to xanthophylls family and is closely related to lutein. Xanthophylls are a group of plant pigments responsible for many of the bright coloured fruits and vegetables. Zeaxanthin is found in sweet corn, persimmons, orange capsicums and oranges.

Dosage

Adults – Take 1 tablet a day with a meal as professionally prescribed

Children under 18 years old – Only as professionally prescribed

How small is this tablet? Is it as small as the discontinued Lutein Vision?

My ninety-nine year old mother is unable to swallow the larger tablets. For years she used to take the Lutein Vision which was a small capsule and easy for her to swallow. This now limits our choices.

The larger capsules like the Lutein Advanced are too large for her to swallow. Many vitamins are becoming larger and becoming a potential choking hazard. We are disappointed to find the Lutein VIsion has been discontinued.

Is this product still unavailable? I have seen it in a local chemist outlet.
