Active ingredients per capsule

Vegetable oil phytosterol esters
(plant sterols)
1 g (1000 mg)

Betacarotene

1.5 mg

Betacarotene is a fat soluble antioxidant found in fruits and vegetables- particularly carrots. Also called provitamin A, betacarotene is converted into vitamin A in the body.

Dosage

Adults – Take 1 capsule twice daily with main meal, or as professionally prescribed.

Children under 12 years – Only as professionally prescribed.

Warnings

Follow the directions for use
Supplements may only be of assistance if dietary intake is inadequate
Contains sulfites and soya
Not suitable for pregnant or lactating women
There is no benefit from taking more than 3g/day of phytosterols from all sources

Why is this product not suitable for pregnant or lactating women?
I take it, but we are planning to have a baby soon so want to know if I should stop taking it before falling pregnant

Can this product be used for a vegetarian?

I have chosen at this stage not to begin prescribed meds for high cholesterol as my Dr told me Id need them for life. If I tried this product, would I become dependant on it? I am also making making major changes to my diet but I wanted to see if this product was safe as a booster.

I have a question.Does cholesterol health have any other age limit except children under 12?like it is not recommend to over 65 years or something?

How about full disclosure on your labels? Either provide details of the plants used and in what proportions, or provide details of analysis, clearly stating and quantifying all major chemical components of this product please?

Hello, I would like to check if the soybean oil you used to produce plant sterol are genetically modified food or not?

Blackmores Cholesterol has been out of stock for a long time now (Chemist Warehouse) and it is also out of stock on your site. When is this likely to be resolved please as my dr recommends plant sterols for me as I cannot take statins.
